The Salford Labour Council’s investment in improving cycling and walking continues with the Swinton Greenway, which once completed will provide an entirely traffic-free route between Swinton and Monton, similar to our amazing Roe Green loop lines.

The Greenway will enhance the off-road and on-road routes, improving access for communities in and around the Greenway to walk, cycle and create healthier and more attractive neighbourhoods to live in.

The project will start on the 4th January 2021, and is expected to be completed by the 17th December 2021
