Since the boundary change Salford Labour Party now covers 4 CLP’s (Constituency Labour Parties).

Branch and Constituency Parties meet almost every month to discuss policy and local issues, get updates from council representatives and MPs, and to elect officers and delegates. All members of the Labour Party are welcome to their local meetings.

One of the most important functions we have is to select candidates for election. The local candidates for Parliament and the Council are selected democratically by the membership. By getting involved you too can become a Labour representative for your community.
